As a winner in the Nature's Best Yellowstone Forever I was invited to be part of the Nature's Best Wildlife Photographer of the Year ceremony in Washington D.C. at the Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History, with my winning image forming part of the year long 82 image exhibition. The first part of the night involved the awards ceremony and it was wonderful to get a chance to meet all the other talented photographers that where part of the event. After the ceremony, all participants where allowed up into the exhibition hall to see all the prints. I must say, to see my own work in the very same halls that I admired so much as a little boy when I visited the museum years before was quite the surreal experience.
